There's something special about these two. Standing together at the water's edge as the sun goes down, looking out in the same direction. I love the warmth of the sunset against those beautiful pink bills and the feeling of stillness between them.

Australian pelicans are such familiar birds around our beaches and waterways, but familiar doesn't make them ordinary.
